forgive me... please?

wow.  I've been a bad blogger before, but lately I guess I've taken the cake!  I hope you'll all forgive me, though.  January is by far one of the busiest times for us at Reminisce.... lots of NEW stuff going on :)  Next week will be full of sneak peaks & reveals.... we've got some AWESOME new lines releasing at CHA winter in California.  I'm positive that everyone will have something to love!!!  There is one release that I'm super excited about... you'll see more on that later... heehehee :)  So keep an eye out here & on the Reminisce blog if ya wanna sneak on our newest, best releases yet!!!

Grateful for a great holiday

We were a busy bunch over Thanksgiving.  Our home hosted 2 Thanksgiving dinners & some overnight guests & lots of busy-ness!  Thankfully we had healthy kids & most everyone could make it.  It is so nice getting together with everyone to share good food & just be able to talk & enjoy each others company.   Dan's brother Allen had to spend Thanksgiving in the hospital unfortunately, but seems to be doing pretty well now at home.  We were very thankful that his mom was able to make it out & that his dad got to have some "away time" as well!  We continue to pray for everyone to be well :) 

I got in on some black Friday shopping, which I was going to avoid, but caved & decided to venture out to a few places with my mom & sister.  I actually had some pretty good luck & the crowds weren't too awful.  Then I made it back home to decorate the house for Christmas!  I was so happy to have a relaxing afternoon to just do that.  It seems in prior years I have put it off & end up getting so busy I have to just throw everything up & it's not any fun!  Everything is going to get pretty crazy over the next few weeks before Christmas with work projects, Christmas programs, basketball & oh yeh, I'm lucky enough to get to travel to Florida with Reminisce right before the holiday!!!!  Right now all the kids know is that I'm going on a work trip.  Believe me if I made mention of where I'm going, I'll never hear the end of it!  

This afternoon Dan & I are traveling to Iowa City for a little Christmas shopping & the Reminisce holiday dinner.  We're pretty excited to get some time away with each other & getting together with the Reminisce group is always so much fun!  I'm really so very blessed to have such great people to work with {& for}.  Speaking of Reminisce, it would be a smart thing to hop on over to blog to check out all the great things going on... I'm talkin' Design team search & a travel contest!  Lots of cold hard cash & prizes are just waiting to come your way!!!  Good luck everyone!

Scrapfest

I've been a bad blogger lately, & as always my excuse is the pure craziness that is our life!  Last weekend we (Dan, Collin, Evan & I) traveled to Minnesota to Mall of America.  It seemed like a great opportunity to take the boys {I was asked to attend Scrapfest to help with Reminisce classes} & they were more than thrilled to go!  So, Friday morning, bright & early we started off on the long drive & arrived around lunch time.  We took them to Rainforest Cafe for lunch.  They were both quite distracted & were really more interested in going to the Lego store than eating.  When we finally got to the store they were in heaven!  They each chose to make their own set of lego figures & checked out tons of stuff they want for Christmas.  Andria was taking all the Reminisce ladies out for supper, so the boys left early to check into the hotel, as they were dying to go swimming.  I had a great time out with the girls.  We don't get to see each other nearly as much as we should.  After supper, I ran into American Girl to get Lydie a Bitty Baby.  Then, back to the hotel for a few more laughs with the girls {darn it, we missed happy hour, though!}.

Saturday morning, I headed to the mall with the girls to start a busy day helping Andria with Reminisce classes & a crop later that night.  I don't know how she does it, but she pulled it off!  We received an awesome response to my Autumn Forest line, which was being featured in the booth on Saturday.  YAY... it's so awesome to be out with scrapbookers & get feedback to all our stuff.   Everyone was great & worked so hard to give everyone a great experience!
