I promised yesterday I'd be back with some of my creative team's favorite kits. I told them 3 a piece, but, of course, the sweethearts that they are, they each sent me about three times that much :) I knew I loved them for a reason {other than their spectacular digi skills}. So, here are just a few picks from Shannon, Claudia & Becca.

retirement sale & some Christmas inspiration

hey all... I know, I know, I don't look old enough to retire {hehe}, but today marks the first day of my retirement sale at Design House Digital. I've decided after a little over 2 years at DHD to retire my shop.  I never, ever thought I'd say that, but I'm really excited at what is going to be happening in the next few weeks!  Don't worry, I'm only taking a mini vaca {well, not really}.  I'll be working like a crazy woman these next few weeks to prepare for a new adventure, a new home for my digi products.  I'm about busting at the seams to tell you, but THURSDAY I'll be letting you know! so.flippin'.excited!!!  Anyway... this week Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday you can get my entire DHD shop for 50...FIFTY % off! yipppeeeee!

I'd also like to thank every.single.person out there that has followed me, who buy my kits, who have quickly become special to me & have become my friends since being at DHD.  I appreciate you all.  It may sound cheesy, but my life will never be the same.  The people who are in my life now who support & encourage me every day are people who I've met over these last few years. So thank you.

Okay, I'll stop being a sap & show you some awesome inspiration from my creatives & some of my good digi friends that I've met through DHD.  I chose a Christmas kit from last year called Vintage Holiday.  It's one of my favorites {it also was in paper form in a 6x6 pad from My Mind's Eye}.

hey everyone! hope you had a great Thanksgiving {if you were celebrating}. We, of course had tons to be thankful for & enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving day at home just us & then had a big gathering at our house on the Saturday after with both Dan & my families together. It was great to see everyone, we don't get to be together nearly enough, so it was nice.

anyway, today I have a set of glitter papers for you. Glitter is always hot during the holiday season, but I've really noticed a lot of bling this year, between glitter, sequins & jewels over everything.  I thought this would be a great add on to add to your holiday or special occasion pages..

happy thanksgiving & new releases

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that are celebrating today! This is one of my favorite holidays, not just because of the food, but because I always know I have so much to be thankful for. My husband, who I love more than anything, my 3 kids that mean the world to me, our home we've built together, our families that support us in all we do, our jobs that allow us to follow our dreams, our health, & our friends, that even though we don't see nearly enough, are still there after all these years. I'm also thankful for a talent that I can share with others, as well as friends that I know that share that talent & excitement along with me. Recently, I was lucky enough to collaborate with 3 other amazing ladies that I admire to create Here Comes Santa Claus... if I must say so, it is one BIG incredible kit! {52 papers, 130 elements & 1 alpha}

I also did up these December dates you can use to overlay on photos for your December Daily, or just use them with the banners I included. It's easy to change up the colors, too.

phew! awesome, right? anyway, have a really great day & enjoy your family.  We're not having our big family celebration until Saturday, where we'll host my family & Dan's family here at our house. Today, we're keeping it low key around here, baking a chicken, some pumpkin pies & sweet potatoes to enjoy with each other. 

I'm not one who's into the Black Friday thing... to brutal for me. I can't get into the craziness of it all! We are doing a great promotion over at DHD though, all weekend long & I hope you'll enjoy doing some quiet shopping there...

I have to put in a quick thank you to all my friends that overflowed my facebook page yesterday with birthday wishes... it was a truly wonderful day.  Each one of you made it special for me.  I enjoyed an early morning gift-unwrapping in bed with my most precious people around me {my husband & kids}, shopping & lunch with my mom, a mass in honor of my mother in law {we miss you Bev!} & a fun chat with some of my favorite people to end the night.  I'm a lucky.lucky girl.
