DSD p&co blog hop

we're celebrating DSD! time for all us crazy, fun & lovable scrapbookers to celebrate with a blog hop & awesome sales! we have a fun one today at P&Co too. Check out this awesome kit you can pick up when you complete the blog hop & enter the secret code in the shop...

ummmm, hello! yes, you can say it... it's FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! so lucky I get to create with THE BEST designers around... & lucky you to get this kit for free :) {you'll get more on that soon} but first...

Do you have a smartphone? I know it may seem like a silly question, but hey, there are some that still don't. Mine is practically permanently attached to my side. lol. But really, I use it for a lot. I love creative apps & am a die hard Instagrammer. {want to follow me? my user name is robynmeierotto} It's like my mini scrapbook. I share inspiring quotes, pictures of my life, my weight loss & healthy eating journey, my creative career & business. It's a huge mash up of about everything that concerns my life. I love it & I've met so many amazing people through it as well. So, I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite apps... Instagram, of course, but a few others I use most frequently along with Instagram.

I use the Rhonna Designs app most every day to write on photos, add graphics, make up quotes. It's like mini photoshop for me. Pic Tap Go is basically high quality filters for your phone photos. You can layer them, control the intensity, another type of mini photoshop. {can you see a trend here?} The Studio app is one I just found last week. It's free & has sooo many cool things in it. You can use the ready made word art, or make your own & I'm sure so much more I haven't figured out yet. It works in layers, again, like photoshop. I'm in love already. Do you have some favorite creative apps for your phone? I'm always interested in new cool things like that!

ok, now. here's the deal-i-o...

new at the company 5.17

I'm so excited about this release... we were lucky enough to work with an amazing color palette for a facebook collab freebie for Quality Digiscrap Freebies. And then we decided to add some more goodness because we just couldn't get enough. So... here's Like Crazy

my design team & the p&co design team really blew my mind this week with their layouts..

by {becca dickson}

by {claudia harvey}

by {anna drozd}

by {rachel alles}

by {me}

by {melanie call}

by {arielle gordon}

great right? love what they did with the kits! get these kits for 30% off through Sunday & don't forget to grab the p&co collab freebie by 'liking' qdsf... you'll wanna cause it is a fabulous kit!

see that layout I did up there? the pic still makes me giggle. you see the above mentioned miss Arielle sorta photoshop bombed a pic I took of a few p&co ladies at our retreat since she wasn't there. it built to more & more hilarious-ness through the night & so we decided to recreate her final pic. So, yeh, we had some fun. being silly, crazy & laughing our, well, you know... ;)

so I'm thinking of summer {we only have like 7 days of school left} & wondering what kind of kits you're wanting for your summer? what do you take pictures of during summer? we do lots of baseball, lots of pool time, lots of outside. what about you?

iNSD p&co blog hop

we're celebrating iNSD! time for all us crazy, fun & lovable scrapbookers to celebrate with a blog hop & awesome sales! we have a fun one today at P&Co too. Check out this awesome kit you can pick up when you complete the blog hop & enter the secret code in the shop...

yep, you can say it... AWESOME!!! so lucky I get to create with THE BEST designers around... & lucky you to get this kit for free :) {you'll get more on that soon} but first...

check out some of these websites for some amazing eye candy. I'm not really that great at the tutorials that the rest of the girls are giving you, but I do pretty good at finding websites that are drool worthy if you're a design lover ;)

so, if you're into photography {or even if you're not} you have to check out the blog Seventy Tree. Makes me want to pull out my camera & create a composition in photo form of fun everyday stuff with my kids or just things around my house. a.maz.ing. really. makes me want to become a better photographer.

into project life with a side of fonts? I came across Design Editor a while back & love to see how different people aproach this project. I love her simple & clean approach. Makes me feel like I could really do it myself. She has some really kick arse font suggestions too. You know how designers love a good font...

& for a few great sites that combine inspiration for illustration, design, pattern, fonts & color? I could literally spend days on Super Swoon. It's just... swoon worthy. for real. just check it out, you'll see. I became aware of the print & pattern blog when I was taking an online pattern course about a year ago. I am obsessed with illustration & am always striving for more inspiration as I continue to build my style. So much goodness in one place.

I hope this gave you a few more places to check out that you'll love & have you pinning away very soon :)

now. on to business at hand...

want to know what's happening at P&Co for iNSD this year? here's the lowdown...

for iNSD celebrations, I wanted to offer you a little extra in addition to what the store is offering, just for my shop...

here's another sweet little goodie for you...if you place an order for prints at Persnickety Prints SATURDAY you'll get a free 5x7" print of this word art that I designed for Mother's Day. How cool is that? They really are the best out there. I was honored to be able to meet Chari {the boss lady at Persnickety} at the P&Co retreat & I can tell you honestly, that girl is passionate about her printing!

now... if you want to get the collab More or Less for FREE, here's what you'll need

38.

wait, what? thirty?eight? huh? I have no idea how in the world I got to the age of 38... aren't I still 28?

I know I'm fortunate to be one of those people who feel like I'm really still in my 20s, not inching closer to the big 4-0. I've led an amazing life so far, lucky to find the one I love so young {love ya baby}, working hard along with him to build a life we only dreamed of when we first met, enjoying our kids & our home as they grow...

Really, the time has flown by & the last few years I feel like I've "found myself". Yeh, I know... blah blah, how cliche. But, for real, I've pushed myself over the last couple years into unfamiliar & uncomfortable territory in both my personal & work life. I feel more confident in my abilities as a mom, I've tried to become a better & more understanding wife {I'm pretty amazing at that already, but, hey there's always room for improvement, right?}, I've built my design business into something I really had no idea I could drive myself to do & I'm feeling way more at peace & confident about who I am than I ever thought possible. One thing I've always felt is people just have to decide to be happy & I truly try to live that way. There are rare occasions I feel that the pessimist comes out in me... I'm a glass-half-full kinda girl. So here I am, on my 38th birthday, hoping you all love celebrating your birthdays as much as I love celebrating them. It's really a blessing... life is way to short to not enjoy it. So, I'm giving you this gift, from me to you... a printable for you...hope you love it, I think it says it all.

{click image to download}

have a wonderful day... I'm going to celebrate mine with my mama doing some shopping & having lunch!

xoxo
