sneak peek 2.2

I've got some fun things for you this week in my regular Thursday release + some more with the $1 deals going on throughout February...

layout by {me} using Chipper Chipboard papers & Sweetness Papers, In Stitches Layered Template #7 releasing tomorrow. I also used the striped arrow element from the Evan Full kit. The stitched alpha is Karen Funk's $1 release today {recolored}... LOVE it!  The ticket paper is from Sara Schmutz's LeCirque kit. The staples are from Karla Dudley's Digi Essentials. 

I created this layout with 2 of the Super Gallery Bowl challenges in mind: Gennifer Bursett's Sports Idioms Challenge {although mine is pretty literal} & Tiffany Bodily's Team Color Challenge.  If you haven't yet, you should play along... I love to try different challenges because I always end up with a layout I might not have necessarily put together before!

have you heard the news about the daily dollar deals at DHD?

Every single day in February we'll have at least one BRAND NEW product being released, and the best part is that it will be only $1 for ALL of February.  Don't forget too that all this week we're doing the Super Gallery Bowl too, where the entire store is 25% off & there are lots of fun challenges too!

I have one of the first dollar deals up today... a layered quick page made up with my Mocha paper set & with a few things that might be coming up later this week too ;)

We're gearing up for a blizzard here in SE Iowa... the kids have a snow day & I'm hoping to get in on some of the challenges over at DHD... as long as the power stays on I'll be good :)  We've heard anywhere from 10-22 inches here by Wednesday... pray for us!

wow! I can't believe it's the end of January already... time has just been flying by SO fast!  I've got 3 kits for you this week & like I said yesterday, there's gonna be lots of great things happening in February going on at DHD {make sure you check back soon for more info on that}.

sneak peek 1.26

I've got 3 kits coming up for release this week... some good go-to kits that I'll hope you love!  I'm keeping it small this week because I have lots of stuff planned for February {wink} I'll keep ya posted on that :)

this one pretty much sums up how I feel about my hubby {in short form, of course!} & I love this picture my sister caught of Dan & I holding hands watching Lydia playing because I feel like it's so "us".   We'll be married for 17 {yikes!} years coming up in July & I sorta had to chuckle reading Allison's bio when she sent it to me the other day talking about getting married at 18.  I always have gotten lots of strange looks when I tell people I was married at 19... but seriously, I wouldn't change a thing!  I wouldn't want to be spending my life with anyone else but Dan :)  Yes, there are lots of times the guy just drives me crazy {& vise versa I'm sure}, but it makes things interesting... & I still love him in the end!  That's what's important, right?  ok enough mushy stuff.  See you tomorrow here with the releases!

new releases 1.20

well, it's Thursday again! I've been workin' away to create some fun new releases & so have many of the other designers at DHD... it's really a great new release Thursday today! Make sure to go check it {remember 30% off all the new goodies!}

 I had fun creating Sketchy... taking pen to paper & then creating the kit from that is always fun for me :)

a word art & brush set inspired by my Little Dreamer, one of her fave songs & a few other dreamy words.

oh my, this is my sweet little baby Lydia the day she was baptized... she'll be 4 in less than 2 months :(  I miss that sweet, tiny snuggly little peanut. {sigh}

& 2 new templates... YAY! On the layouts I created above with each of the templates, I've only changed up the frames {on each I've used frames from Jen Allyson}. I love how these templates are great bases for the pictures & you get to use lots of different papers together {my fave}! 

Oh... & guess what? Remember the Valentine's Heart print I showed you over the weekend?  Well, since I used some of Jen's papers to create the print & I love it so much framed up in my home, we thought you would too!  So Jen & I have decided to put it up as a freebie in the shop!  Whooo HOOo! Hope you enjoy :)

ok... that is all! Can't wait for next week... I've got some fun things in mind :) Stay warm... we've got some frigid temps here in Iowa & it's all icy & snowy.  Some of my scrappy friends are teasing me telling me about the warm weather in places like Arizona & Hawaii... watch out girls, I may just be packin' my bags soon ;)
