new at the company 8.30

holy wow, did this month fly by! I'm sure you're all just as busy if not busier than we are here. School's in session {although it's been so hot they've not had a full day yet}, our oldest has cross country practices to run to every night, the first meet next week, homework, our oldest adjusting to high school, another who decided to play soccer... you know, the stuff of life with kids.

I've also been busy trying to juggle my design with a new website about eating better, exercising, & positive thoughts called Everyday Robyn, {shameless plug} taking care of the kids & their needs, the house {ok that's getting slightly neglected}, preparing meals, keeping food in the house {almost impossible it seems}, laundry, dishes, working on myself & trying to remember what my husband looks like in between ;) I'm sure all you moms know exactly what I mean.

Anyway, I have a new kit today. It's a simple one, but I hope you'll find it useful. Remember, since it's almost September, the new Company Stash will be coming out on Sunday! eek! It's awesome. You'll see a little sneak below in one of the layouts.

Oh wow. Guess I've been off the grid here for a while, huh? Sorry about that! I do have a few new things in my shop for you, though. Our kids started back to school this week. Let the early mornings, homework drama & all around craziness begin!

featured designer week

I'm excited to say... this week I'm the featured designer along with the ever fab-u-lous Gennifer Bursett. Wait til you see what we've put together. I think it's pretty awesome. Since Gen is awesome with elements & I feel most inspired in the paper department, we split it up just like that.

I'm trying my best to hurry & get my work done for the day so I can hit the pool with the kids for a bit before stuff like a run, a shower, making supper, taking Evan to baseball practice & a school board meeting. We're at the beginning of another busy week. The last week of baseball, ending this weekend with a tournament & Evan's birthday on Sunday. Also a family reunion that we need to figure out how to make it to in between games. Should be lots of fun, but we'll be ready for some less-busy time soon {just in time for my busy July of design work!}. Have a great week!

new at the company 6.21

just a little bit from me today {I'll have an awesome new collab with Gennifer Bursett coming up Monday, so stay tuned}. I haven't done a template for a while & was inspired by a paper layout I saw with big hand cut circles. So, here it is...

I modified mine a little & used it with the Just Keep Swimming Collection I released a couple weeks ago. Our kids had swimming lessons last week & I waited to use the kit just for some of the pics I took. Love this one I captured of Lydia jumping off the high high dive. No help, her teacher walked up behind her, expecting to lower her down, but she jumped before she even could suggest it! enjoy your weekend! we finally were able to set up our new {to us} bigger pool & are looking forward to lots of swimming & grilling this weekend, Lydia's last tball game, some haircuts from my fab sister, a going away for our priest Fr. Beckman {who we'll miss dearly} & probably some Cards baseball on tv before we jump into another week of baseball games for Evan & practices for his upcoming weekend of tournament play. what have you been up to? hopefully something fun!
