new releases 4.19

new release thursday is here again & I have a few kits this week.  one is inspired by Collin's new golf obsession, another inspired by a cool type treatment I saw online & trying to add some new project life goodies to the shop & the template was a welcome challenge from one of the dhd decorators... love it!

so now to the fun inspiration!

{shannon} used the layered template to make up a hybrid card for her dad. very cool.

{shelley} used the fore! kit to make up this cool graphic layout to highlight her amazing photo.

{celeste smith} used the template {tipped on it's side} LOVE this.

{jennifer hignite} used the template with my sweet life releases from last week. so cute!

{jennifer papadimitiou} used the template {shrunk down a little} & I love how it turned out!

here's one from {me} using the Fore! kit & the template modified.

remember all the new kits are 30% off just today, so hurry & grab 'em up to get a great deal!

ps: just a quick note too... I've been changing a few things up here on the site, so if you had previously subscribed to my rss feed, it may have changed {i did away a few things so now you can just go to www.pinktrikedesign.com or www.pinktrikedesign.squarespace.com}, so if you would re-subscribe over to the right in my sidebar, I'd appreciate it & then you won't miss what's going on here either!

have a great day!

new releases 2.23

hello Thursday & hello new releases... this one was inspired by my daughter's upcoming 5th birthday.  she talks about her birthday every.single.day.of.the.year.  yes, her birthday is a big, big deal & planning a party pretty much consumes the weeks leading up to it.  so, I decided to do a kit that has a little birthday {or any special day} theme to it & included bright, fun colors that are perfect for girl or boy...  hello HaPpY DaY!

now... for some inspiration!

layout by {allison waken} LOVE LOVE LOVE the confetti behind the die cut card!

& this garland by {shelley haganman}  SO making this for the party! you can find her "how to" on her blog today!  love it.

layout by {me}  before I started in on all the girly stuff I wanted to create something boyish... using the Happy Day paper & elements, CutItOut Hand Cut Clipping Masks, So Daily Die Cut Number Cards, In Stitches Neutral Basics, Cut.Outs Zig Zag freebie all by me, Protector Pockets 2 by Karla Dudley & Simply Said by Gennifer Bursett.

birthday invite by {me} using Happy Day papers & elements, the background is from my Everyday papers & again Karla's Protector Pockets 2 {links above}.  Need to get these printed asap... it's coming up fast!  I'm hoping to do some hybrid projects for the party with the papers... banners, party favors, decorations... hopefully I can post more soon about that!

remember 30% off all new good stuff in the shop today... there's tons of great kits up today too!

new releases 12.29

can you believe 2011 is almost over? It's truly been an amazing year & I hope that 2012 will follow in it's footsteps!  Christmas has come & gone... we were lucky enough to have a impromptu visit from my parents for the holidays, which was bittersweet.  They drove home from Texas for a few days because of my Aunt Betty's passing.  We tried to get as much grandma & grandpa time as we could... did some baking, some shopping, celebrated my mom's birthday & our Klesner family tradition of Christmas Eve together.  My parents left Christmas morning to head back & the kids opened gifts as usual at our house Christmas morning.  Christmas night we hosted Dan's family for supper. It's great to get them all together, it just doesn't seem to happen enough.

anyway... I have lots going on here.  The kids are still home for Christmas break & I'm in the process of finishing up my December Daily & itching to start on Project Life!  I'm trying my best to get some useful kits made up for those of you that are playing along with either Project Life of P365 type projects... whether it's digital, hybrid  or paper.  Here's what I've got for you this week...

I've been playing around with some ideas for my Project Life title page the last few days using some of the new stuff.  I love the look of placing the digital stamps & rubons on top of the photos before I print...

don't forget all new releases are 30% off today... also coming up is DHD's birthday on January 1st!  Keep an eye out for fun stuff happening there too :)

today I'm gonna get my kids out of the house to go see a movie.  we've been pretty much home bodies since Christmas break started, so I want to get out & do something!  enjoy your day!
